LHH is searching for a Analytical AP Specialist who enjoys researching and problem solving. This is a contract to hire position with a manufacturing company in South Austin. Our client offers a hybrid schedule and focuses on putting their employees first. To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of five years of full cycle AP experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 
   

   Perform statement and account reconciliations

2. 
   

   Prepare reports on a weekly basis for distribution to leadership

3. 
   

   Record journal entries and assist team with month-end duties

4. 
   

   Support team with additional projects as needed

5. 
   

   Assist with internal and external audits

6. 
   

   Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices

7. 
   

   Request and follow-up on invoice approvals

8. 
   

   Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

9. 
   

   Ensure vendor invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications:

• 
  

  5+ years of relevant Accounts Payable experience

• 
  

  Knowledge of accounting and accounts payable best practices

• 
  

  Strong technical accounting and financial analytical skills

• 
  

  Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and exercises strong self-review in work

• 
  

  Ability to manage a fast-paced, dynamic environment, strong sense of time management

• 
  

  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• 
  

  Experience collaborating cross-functionally with different business stakeholders, clients, and teams
