Responsibilities:


Support the global product development process for new products and ensure that suppliers meet requirements. Acting with Purchasing and platform about sourcing strategies and their implementation process definition, particularly on initial assessment (PSA Potential Supplier Assessment) and ensure that suppliers meet requirements for APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning) and Part Approval Process.


Support current product quality management activities.


Assure proper non-conformity containment tools application as CSL1/2/3 (Containment Shipping Level) and irreversible corrective actions to achieve stable supplier conformity.


Grant extensive and deep usage of problem-solving techniques at suppliers (8D, Ishikawa, pareto diagram etc.).


Verify capability studies to assure process stability and accuracy (e.g. Cp, CPk).


Perform at supplier Process Control Plan Audit (PCPA) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).


Support suppliers and engineering/quality team in developing technical solutions to fix quality/product issues in field and/or during development process




Candidate Profile:


GENERAL BACKGROUND:


· Proven experience in following fields:


o Manufacturing Engineering, Product/Process validation, Process Engineering, Product/Plant Quality, Welding process and Deep Drawing (Stamping) and Forming Processes, Process Tolls Analysis.


· General knowledge of key industrial manufacturing processes


· Project management skills (excellent in defining projects scope and assigning responsibility)


· International Standard base knowledge


· Specific knowledge on Welding Standard and Raw Material


· Sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities


· Leadership and consolidated experience in managing technical topics


SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS:


· Welding Process Knowledge MIG/MAG/Projection Welding (qualification IIS like a plus).


· Metallurgical Lab Reports ability to verify and validate


· Surface coating experience / ability to verify and approve reports


· On the job experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality related to the production of electrical, electronics, electrochemical and electromechanical devices


· Strong knowledge on state-of-the-art on Welded parts and Safety products subject to homologation


· Experience (also base) on complex products assembly


· Design, manufacturing and assembly process, norms and regulations, related to above items


SPECIFIC QUALITY SKILLS:


· Solid knowledge of related quality tools (APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PCPA/PSA, (Process control plan audit/ Potential Supplier Assessment), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), etc.), international standards, international Agency standards (ISO) – Root Cause Analysis – ability to validate the report received.


· Problem solving techniques (Kaizen, 8D, Ishikawa, pareto diagram etc.).
