Responsibilities:


Primary Responsibilities:


Join the Engineering Technical Support team, liaising with all the engineering functions to provide engineering support for production and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems products. Address issues resolution in a team-working environment; develop design modifications aimed to solve problems of varying complexity, assuring high quality technical content. Manage technical aspects to timely response to customer technical queries. Prepare and review technical reports and review relevant technical documentation.


· Operate in a team environment with other functional areas, providing directions to operations and to the customer, finalizing technical solutions for issues relevant to production and maintenance


· Coordinate engineering activities with other departments; lead the engineering product support activities relevant to the assigned product line, being the technical interface to operations and the technical point of contact to the customer


· Drive product improvement initiatives, manage modifications and upgrades on legacy products in accordance with internal procedures, configuration management, manuals and obsolescence plan


· Analyze technical issues to isolate Root Cause and define Corrective Actions


· Investigate and manage technical aspects with customers and suppliers


· Lead technical investigations driven by customer feedback / significant flight events / low in-service reliability performance of the product and technical alerts


· Follow all set of quality standards and engineering principles and best practices, direct instructions for manuals, assembly instructions, testing and troubleshooting


· Manage product in-service issues and support management of Flight Safety related issues


· Write and check technical reports; examine and check supplier and customer technical documentation


· Report project status data to Management Team in support of periodic project reviews; prepare project presentations for customers


· Attend and lead meetings with other departments and teleconferences with customer


· Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels


· Understanding of aerospace product development processes 



Candidate Profile:


Qualifications:


· Master degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering


· Knowledge of Reliability and Maintainability Analysis (RAMS and FMEA Process) applied in the Aerospace


· Basic knowledge of Aerospace Systems architecture and functionality


· Good understanding of Engineering principles and calculations


· Good use of Microsoft Office Package and Project Scheduling Tools


· Required 3+ years of Engineering experience preferably in an aerospace development environment, including experience in complex projects


· Team player, demonstrating positive and collaborative attitude


· Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and strategize for design solutions and product improvement


· Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills 


Fluent English
