This is an interesting opportunity with growth prospects to become part of an important production company that is an international leader in its reference sector and part of a multinational group.


 


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the associate will lead a team of 2 collaborators, driving the process certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), the product certification and manufacturing quality processes providing best practices with the intent of improving general quality performance. The manager will guide product and process non-compliance management (including corrective action), internal/supplier and Third Parties Audit. Will be responsible for Warranties Cost and RCI (rapid continuous improvement), Product Certification (ex. CE Mark, PED, CB Scheme, ETL Mark, UKCA, etc.).


This does not exclude undertaking other duties that may be required to allow effective operation of the business. The main tasks are:


Quality Control Process


• Management of the Incoming Inspection strategy (Acceptance Quality Limits)


• Corrective action management (for Suppliers and Production) using standard methods like 5S or FMEA or 8D


• Management of the scraps area and suppliers return


• Metrology Department and measuring instrument management (periodical calibration)


• Execution of Internal and Suppliers Audit


• Support of the Third Parties Audit


Quality Engineering Process


• Management of the Products Certification (ex. CEMark, PED, CB Scheme, ETL Mark, UKCA, etc.)


• Management of Technical Files for Product


• Review and archiving of documentation and production procedures and traceability


• Execution of Internal Audit (Process and Products) Quality, Safety and Enviromental


Certification


• Documentation Quality System Management as per ISO 9001 Standard Requirements


• Documentation Safety System Management as per ISO 45001 Standard Requirements


• Documentation Environment System Management as per ISO 14001 Standard Requirements


 


Only applications from professionals who meet the following requirements will be evaluated for the selection process: 


5 years+ experience in a similar role (preferential automotive sector of origin).


Bachelor’s Degree (Quality Engineering or equivalent experience); Master Degree preferential.


Position requires knowledge and experience in the following areas:


• demonstrated experience in quality management


• skills / knowledge of ISO standards


• knowledge of 5S methods


• Kaizen, Lean, six sigma methodology (preferential)


• statistics knowledge


• Business management


• People management, Leadership and ability to motivate workers guiding them towards continuous improvement


Individuals must possess the following characteristics:


• High energy level and highly motivated


• Results driven – set and achieve goals and customer focused


• Strong communications – interpersonal, relationship building, presentations, oral/written, listening, etc.


• Problem-solving skills


• Decision Making and Acts with integrity


• Organized, team oriented and able to prioritize and manage time


• English language Knoledge is required (intermediate level B2)
