Client Description:

This is an interesting opportunity to join to a manufacturing company leader on tools , equipment and solutions for gardening.

The category buyer electrical and electronic is responsible for management of:

  •  Leads and manages commercial Supplier relationships for the all Electronics and electrical.
  • Creates and maintains visible Category strategies for the individual sub category to providing a technical roadmap that is align with the business growth plan.
  • Leads the creation and execution of an aligned category strategy. Ensures category strategy is understood and visible to obtained alignment with key internal stakeholders.
  • Leads the creation and execution of an aligned category strategy. Ensures category strategy is understood and visible to obtained alignment with key internal stakeholders.
  • Identified critical component and establish direct commercial agreement with the component suppliers on price, payment term and volume allocation.
  • Actively seeking business opportunities to meet business growth requirements.
  •  Keeps current on market trends and insights for the Category and shares with key stakeholders. Contributes and delivers to the goals of the Sourcing Group.
  • Presents to key stakeholders a rigorous business case on identified opportunities for consideration and aligned decision and provides timely, visible plans to key stakeholders
  • Lead Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with strategic suppliers to review past performance and key metrics (spend volume, transaction volume and KPIs); forecast future trends and plan for them; technical/product roadma


  • Regarding Supplier Qualification Process
  •  Leads a collaborative Supplier selection process, with support from Quality and R&D.
  • Holds integrating events to ensure aligned and inclusive decision making.
  • Co-ordinates Supplier capability information capture and shares with key stakeholders.
  • Applies standardized systems and processes.

  • Regarding Supplier Management
  • Leads the end-to-end sourcing process and ensures best value Supplier solutions are delivered on time to key stakeholders.
  • Ensures Commercial Agreements, (with clarity on critical measures for the business and that achieve contractual requirements that mitigate risk to Stiga), are in place with all Suppliers.
  • Actively monitors and reports on Supplier performance against defined critical measures.
  • Builds strong and constructive relationships with Suppliers to deliver optimal solutions for the business.
  • Manage the price discussion with supplier with systematic and analytic approach, with detail cost breakdown. -

Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering or economics

- Experience: minimum 6 years’ experience in sourcing in manufacturing industry. Skillset/Knowledge : - Capability in dealing with complexity in a multinational environment is needed. - Strong business acumen in sourcing - Excellent Supplier relationship management skill - Strong Negotiation & Communication skill - Good Knowledge of Ms Excel, Power Point, Word (required) - General knowledge of management systems (SAP or similar) (required) - Problem analysis and decision making in ordinary and extraordinary cases (required) - General knowledge of manufacturing processes (desirable) - Languages: fluent English (mandatory)
